OUR 2020 COOKIE WALK IS SOLD OUT OF COOKIES. WE THANK EVERYONE FOR YOUR GREAT SUPPORT!
Our very popular Cookie Walk is an annual fundraiser for Whitehorse United Church.
During the weeks leading up to December our church volunteers bake hundreds of dozens of Christmas Cookies. Typically the first Saturday in December the church basement (Lewis Hall) is laid out with tables full of a wide variety of cookies from shortbreads to gingerbreads and everything in between.
Styrofoam or plastic 'clamshell' containers are sold on entering the Hall and people can choose their cookies. Pies and preserves are also sold. And there is usually a 'cafe' from the kitchen, serving coffee, tea and of course cookies, by donation.
This year, however, because of the COVID-19 health restrictions, our 2020 Cookie Walk will be very different. The specific details for how you can order and pick up your cookies will be posted soon.
In the meantime, you can pre-order pies and preserves. A list with prices and ordering information can be seen by clicking here.
